MISCELLANEOUS: If you like to use vanilla-flavoured sugar, the method to follow in making it is simplicity itself.

VANILLA SUGAR:

 

 

 

1 whole vanilla bean                                                   

sugar

 

 

 

Place a vanilla bean in a canister of sugar. Within 1 week, the sugar will be highly perfumed with vanilla. Replace sugar as you use it. Replace vanilla bean every 6 months.
