BASIC MILK SHAKE:
2 or 3 scoops of ice cream
¾ cup cold milk
extra flavours:
vanilla—vanilla
ice cream, 1 tsp. vanilla extract
chocolate—add
2 tbsp. chocolate syrup
berries---add
1/3 cup berries, fresh or frozen
other fruit---add
1/3 cup fruit, fresh or canned
Put ice cream into blender. Add cold milk. Add desired
flavouring ingredients. Blend until smooth.
Pour into large glass to serve.
BANANA FRAPPE:
1 cup cold milk
½ cup yogurt
2 medium ripe banana
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 egg
2 whole walnuts, chopped
PINEAPPLE EGG NOG:
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 cup unsweetened crushed pineapple with juice
3 ice cubes
Combine pineapple and eggs in a blender. Blend until
smooth and creamy. Add milk and ice cubes, blend until foamy, about 30 seconds.
RASPBERRY FROSTY:
2 cups milk, divided
¼ cup fresh or frozen raspberries
2 tbsp. sugar
Freeze 1 cup milk in ice cube tray.
Place frozen milk cubes in blender with fruit, sugar
and 1 cup milk. Blend for approximately 1 minute. Other fresh or frozen fruits may be
substituted.
