APPETIZER: Hope you will try out this version of the popular guacomole the next time you entertain friends at home.



GUACOMOLE WITH CORN CHIPS:







4 medium avocados                                                    

juice from ½  a lime

1 medium tomato, finely diced                                   

1 small onion, finely diced

1 ½ tsp. garlic powder                                                 

¾ tsp. ground coriander

½ tsp. salt                                                                    

2 tbsp. sour cream                                                                  

1 tbsp. finely diced canned or fresh jalapeno pepper               

salt and black pepper







Slice avocados in half, discard pits and spoon pulp into a bowl.  Squeeze lime juice over avocado and mash with fork.



Mix in tomato, onion, garlic powder, coriander, jalapeno peppers, sour cream, salt and pepper. Adjust seasoning if needed. Serve with corn tortilla chips.
